If you own a 2014 Ford Escape and are having trouble finding the fuel shut off switch, also known as the fuel inertia switch, here's how to locate it: Go to the passenger side of your vehicle and open the glove compartment. Look for a small switch positioned just below the curve of the glove box - that's the inertia switch. If you don't find it there, you might have to use a screwdriver and prying tool to take out the glove box and check behind it. Replacement of the switch typically ranges from $40 to $85 for the parts.
