In the 2001 Nissan Pathfinder, there are two different fuse boxes. One is situated inside the vehicle's cabin, above the hood release on the driver's side kick panel, while the other is located under the hood in the engine compartment, above the battery. The engine compartment fuse box has a cover with a quick diagram printed on it. Depending on the fuse you need access to, you will have to find and open one of these two fuse panels. The engine compartment panel typically contains most relays and primary function fuses, while the passenger compartment panel usually houses most auxiliary function fuses. Keep in mind that this guideline may not always apply, so you may have to research the specific component to locate its fuse based on the information you gather.

In my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder LE with a 3.5 V6 engine, the fuses can be found on the driver's side above the hood release latch and some are also located above the battery under the hood. I am searching for the fuse that is responsible for the "running lights" or parking lights specifically. Everything seems to be functioning properly, including the turn signals and emergency lights.
