To access the fuse box in the engine compartment of the car, first lift and secure the hood. Look for a black box on the right side with a visible seam. Inside, you'll find the fuses. The back of the box lid usually has a diagram indicating which fuse is which. If not, refer to the owner's manual for guidance. To replace a fuse, simply identify the one you need, pull it out, and check if the metal strip between the two raised sections is intact. If broken, the fuse is bad and needs replacement. A new fuse typically costs around $10, making them affordable.
