To access the fuse box in your vehicle, locate it to the left of the steering wheel by looking for a small seam or crack along the dashboard. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open the panel. Inside, you will find a variety of fuses. The back of the panel should have a diagram showing the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not there, you can refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Once you identify the needed fuse, simply pull it out. Check if the metal strip connecting the two sections is intact - if it is broken, the fuse is no longer usable and must be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, typically around 10 dollars.
There is a single fuse box located in the engine bay, specifically on the side where the driver sits, rather than on the side where the passenger sits.
The fuse box for the 2015 Nissan Altima can be found under the hood on the right side for the passenger.
