To access the fuse box in your vehicle, look to the left of the steering wheel and find a small seam or crack along the dashboard. Use a screwdriver or prybar to gently open it up. Inside, you'll see a collection of fuses. The back of the panel you opened should have a diagram showing the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not there, you can refer to the owner's manual for the vehicle. Once you identify the fuse you need, simply pull it out. Check if the thin metal strip connecting the two raised sections is intact – if it's broken, the fuse is faulty and needs replacing. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. Typically, new fuses are inexpensive, costing around 10 dollars.
There are a pair of fuse panels on the 2003 Infiniti G35. One can be found in the engine compartment, and the other is situated underneath the dashboard near the steering column. Keep an eye out for a compact black container.
