The location of the alarm fuse for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee is at the left side of the steering wheel. To access the fuse box, check for a small seam or crack along the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open this panel. Inside, you will find various fuses. Look for a diagram on the back of the panel or consult the owner's manual for the purpose of each fuse. When you identify the fuse you need, remove it. Check if the metal strip connecting the two elevated sections of the fuse is intact. If it's broken, the fuse is defective and must be replaced. If the strip is undamaged, the fuse is good to go back in its place. Replacement fuses typically cost around $10, making them an affordable option.
