In the 2003 Lincoln Navigator, there are three fuse boxes, with two of them having fuses related to the alternator. The alternator warning lamp fuse, labeled as number 17 and 5 amps on the diagram, is located in the passenger compartment kick panel. The alternator sense fuse, also rated at 5 amps and labeled as number 15 on the diagram, can be found in the luggage compartment fuse box, located under the spare tire well cover. When replacing a fuse, ensure you select the correct amperage. There may be extra fuses in one of the Navigator's fuse boxes, along with a plastic fuse removal tool. Otherwise, you can easily remove the old fuse by pulling it out with two fingers and then firmly insert the new one.
