In the 2012 Chevy Impala, you can find the blower motor fuse in the fuse box located to the left of the steering wheel. Look for a seam or crack along the dash, then use a screwdriver or prybar to open it. Inside, you'll see several fuses. The back panel of the fuse box will have a diagram showing what each fuse is for, but you can also check the owner's manual for this information. To replace a fuse, simply pull it out - if the strip of metal connecting the two sections is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. A new fuse is inexpensive, costing about $10.

The 30-amp fuse labeled BATT 4 in the fuse panel under the hood provides power to the blower motor control module. This module sends power to the blower motor when instructed by the HVAC control panel. The HVAC control panel is powered by the 10-amp fuse labeled DISPLAY in the same fuse panel. Unfortunately, Chevrolet overlooked mentioning this important information in the car's owner's manual.

I can't find the fuse for the blower in the car manual. I checked the kick panel by the heater fan, where there are different fuses, but none of them are specified for the heater or blower motor.

A new resistor and connector for the fan were installed, but the fan is still not functioning. Assistance is needed.

Mike Wilson is right. The 30 amp fuse named batt 4 is located in the fuse box at the top of the engine compartment.
