In the 2009 Chevrolet Malibu, the fuse for the door lock can be found in the fuse panel inside the car, located in the passenger's side footwell. It is the fuse at the bottom left corner, in the SRX row from the top. Make sure you are looking at the fuse panel with the fuse pullers on the bottom right and the HVAC blower high relay on the top right. If this fuse blows, it may indicate underlying issues with your door locks that should be investigated. Fuses are there as a safety measure, meant to fail to protect more expensive components in the circuit. When replacing a fuse, it's important to also check and diagnose the related components.
