To locate the fuel pump fuse in a 2004 Chevy Silverado, you can find it under the hood in a black box along the right-hand side of the engine compartment. The box can be opened by finding a seam that runs around it. Inside, you will see a diagram of the fuses and their functions on the back of the lid. If the diagram is not there, you can refer to the owner's manual of the car to identify the correct fuse. To replace a fuse, simply pull it out - if the thin strip of metal connecting the two ends is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. A new fuse costs about 10 dollars, making them an affordable fix for any issues related to the fuel pump.
