In the 2014 VW Jetta, the horn fuse can be found to the left of the steering wheel. To access the fuse box under the car's hood, first, lift the hood and secure it. Look for a black box along the right-hand side of the engine compartment with a seam around it. Opening this box will reveal the fuse inside. Check the diagram on the back of the box to identify the specific fuse you need. If the diagram is missing, refer to the car's owner's manual. Once you have determined the correct fuse, remove it. A good fuse will have a metal strip connecting the two protruding sections. If this strip is broken, the fuse is faulty and needs replacement. Otherwise, the fuse is still working and can be reinstalled. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, typically costing around 10 dollars.
The fuse for the horn is located behind the panel close to the car door hinges in the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta.
