In the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the power windows are operated using wiring inside the door frames and a fuse in the fuse box located under the hood. To find the power distribution box in the engine bay next to the battery, check inside the lid for a diagram showing the location and function of each relay and plug. Plug #12, which is a 50-amp connection, helps power the Cherokee's windows and accessories. To replace a blown fuse, use the plug puller to remove it from the slot and replace it with another 50 amp fuse. Window issues can also be caused by faulty pins, connectors, or wiring under the door panel.
