In the Chevy Silverado, the radio fuse can be found in the engine compartment fuse box, which is an unusual place compared to where it is typically located in other vehicles – usually in the interior fuse panel beneath the driver's side dashboard rather than under the hood. The radio fuse is a 15 amp fuse situated in the lower right section of the panel. To pinpoint its exact spot, refer to the diagram on the inside cover of the fuse box. If replacing the fuse doesn't resolve the issue, it's recommended to also inspect the "INFO" and "Radio Amp" fuses in the same under hood panel, as these are integral components of the overall system even though they are not directly linked to the head unit.

The device is located within the door panel, so you'll have to remove the covering to access it. You'll need a screwdriver for this task.

Wow, I've had many vehicles over the years, and I've come across fuse boxes in various locations. But I've never heard of one being inside the door panel - that's crazy! I guess there's always something new to learn about cars.
