In the 2010 Ford F-150, the tail light fuse can be found next to the steering wheel on the left side. Locate the fuse box by examining the area to the left of the steering wheel for a small seam or crack on the dashboard. Use a screwdriver or prybar to gently open this panel. Inside, you will see various fuses. Check the back of the panel for a diagram that identifies the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not there, refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Identify the fuse you need and remove it by pulling it out. A good fuse will have a thin strip of metal connecting the two sections that stick up. If this strip is intact, the fuse is still functional and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, costing around $10.
