To replace the heater resistor in a Ford Fiesta, first remove the trim panel located at the front of the center console on the passenger side. This panel is secured by one T20 torx head screw and several clips. After removing the panel, you will find the relay near the firewall. Use a T20 torx bit driver to unscrew the two screws holding it in place, and then unplug the electrical connector. When installing the new resistor, ensure the electrical plug is securely connected and clipped in place before reattaching the screws.
