It is recommended to change the coolant every 60,000 miles and the air filter every 15,000 to 30,000 miles. Spark plugs should be replaced every 100,000 miles, unless they are copper spark plugs, which should be replaced every 30,000 miles.

The 2009 CRV does not have a separate IAC valve; it is integrated into the throttle body electronically. In contrast, older models have it as a standalone component.
