If you own a 2001 Honda Civic, you might need to find the immobilizer for your car. Fortunately, it's fairly easy to locate and should only take you about 10 to 15 minutes. To start, head to the front of your car. Look for the immobilizer behind the headlight harness, under the grille. To reset the immobilizer, press and hold the panic button on your keyless remote fob for 5 to 7 seconds. After that, press the lock icon button twice, then step away from your vehicle for approximately 10 to 15 minutes to allow the reset process to complete.
