In the 2014 Jeep Patriot, the interior fuse box can be located near the steering wheel. To access the fuse box, check the left side of the steering wheel for a small seam or crack on the dashboard. You can use a screwdriver or prybar to open it up. Inside, you will find various fuses. The back panel of the open box will display a diagram detailing the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not visible on the panel, you can also refer to the owner's manual for the vehicle. Once you identify the needed fuse, simply remove it. A good fuse should have a thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections; if this strip is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, you can reinsert the fuse. Replacement fuses are affordable, typically costing around $10.
