In your 2017 Chevy Silverado, you can find the jack beneath the carpet in the backseat on the driver's side. To use it, first, find the knob on the jack and turn it counterclockwise to lower the jack head and release it from its holder. Next, turn the wing nut counterclockwise to remove the wheel blocks and their retainer. Also, turn the wing nut holding the storage bag and tools counterclockwise to take it off. If you have a two-wheel-drive truck, position the jack under the jacking pad at the front under the engine and under the differential at the back. For four-wheel-drive trucks, place the jack under the front differential.
