To access the jack stand for your Dodge Ram 1500, you can locate it inside the passenger compartment. Simply open the front door on the passenger side and you will see an access cover located between the seat controls and the floor. Carefully remove the cover by pulling it towards you – you will hear a locking mechanism release. Once removed, you will see the end of the jack under the seat. To take out the jack, turn the wingbolt counterclockwise until it comes out completely. Slide the jack out from under the seat. When putting it back, slide the jack back under the seat, insert the wingbolt, and tighten it by turning clockwise. Finally, replace the cover.
