The 2012 Hyundai Accent doesn't have a mass air flow (MAF) sensor like some other cars. Instead, it's equipped with a manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor, which serves a similar purpose during regular vehicle operation. To locate it, check towards the lower right side of the intake. Accessing it might be a bit challenging as it may require removing certain components. If you discover that your MAP sensor needs replacement, the part itself can cost over $70. Opting for professional installation could push the total price to around $150, give or take $25, but it might be worth the expense to avoid any potential hassle.
