Where can I find the OBD II port in a Toyota Tacoma?

From the years 2005 to 2015, the Toyota Tacoma OBD2 port was located in a consistent spot. It might take a little searching, but with some direction, you can find it quickly. Head towards your parking brake and then look upward right away. You'll spot it on the lower dash, to the left side of the steering wheel. While it's in a similar position as in other vehicles you may be familiar with, in the Tacoma, Toyota has concealed it somewhat with a panel. Once you know its location, you can connect to it by routing the cord up from the emergency brake area - without needing to remove any panels.

The obd2 port in the 2005 to 2015 Toyota Tacoma is located beneath the steering wheel and paneling, above the parking brake. It is wide and features multiple white wiring connectors.
