The 2019 Ford F-150's OBD port can be found beneath the dashboard on the driver's side. The OBD system is like a car's personal computer that keeps tabs on emissions, mileage, speed, and other car data. It links up with the Check Engine light, which turns on when an issue is detected. The Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) are stored in the computer system. If you have an OBD-II scan tool, you can plug into the port and access the diagnostic trouble codes. Many auto parts stores like Advance Auto and Auto Zone offer free code checks for customers.
