In a 2019 Ford Ranger, the OBD2 port is positioned on the left side beneath the fuse box, just below a slot in the panel above the hood release lever. When the panel is removed, the OBD2 port, also referred to as the onboard diagnostic port, becomes visible next to the hood release lever. This port is utilized for diagnosing and clearing trouble codes. An OBD scan tool is connected to this port to communicate with the vehicle's computer and identify any issues. Due to the advanced systems in modern vehicles, using this method is often the most effective way to determine car problems.

In my 2019 US Ranger, the port is located UNDER the fuse panel and has a protective black plastic cover inside. When you open the fuse panel, it covers and blocks access to the OBD port.
