To change the oil in a 2002 Mercedes C320, start by parking the vehicle and letting it cool down for a few hours. Locate the oil dipstick at the rear of the engine block near the oil container. Find the oil pan in the engine compartment and the drain plug underneath it. Place a bucket under the plug and open it to let the oil drain out completely, which may take some time. Once it stops dripping, replace the plug. Next, find the intake port on top of the oil pan and use a funnel to refill it to the full mark, being careful not to overfill. It's okay to be a little under the full mark, but overfilling can cause leaks and excessive oil burn-off. Close the port, clean up any spilled oil, and you're done.
