The oil pressure sensor is typically located towards the rear and top of the engine bay, secured to the engine block with electrical connectors. This sensor monitors the oil level in the vehicle, indicating when an oil change is needed. Before changing the oil, ensure that the car has been parked and turned off for a few hours to allow the oil to cool down, preventing potential burns. Locate the oil pan and drain plug underneath the engine compartment, position a bucket below, and remove the plug to drain the oil completely. Wait until the oil stops dripping, which could take around an hour. Once drained, reinstall the drain plug and find the intake port on top of the oil pan. Use a funnel to refill the oil pan, ensuring not to overfill. It's okay to be slightly under the full mark, but overfilling may cause leaks and oil consumption. After refilling, seal the port, clean up any spills, and you're all set.
