In the Kia Rio models from 2006 to 2011, locating the power steering fluid reservoir should be easy since it is prominently placed on the left front side of the engine compartment under a large black cap. By referencing the smaller blue cap on the left side of the engine block, you can quickly find it. The reservoir has minimum and maximum fill lines that should always be followed to avoid problems. It's important not to overfill the power steering fluid as that can cause issues just like under-filling it would. If you notice that the fluid looks cloudy or bubbly, this could indicate potential problems with the power steering system, such as a faulty o-ring seal or a failing power steering pump.
