In the 2012 Hyundai Sonata, you can locate the power steering reservoir on the front right side of the engine. Changing the power steering fluid involves first finding the clear plastic container under the hood near the windshield. Use a pump to remove all the fluid from the container. When the fluid level is low, turn the steering wheel all the way to one side and then to the other to let the fluid drain into the container for removal. Once the container is empty, refill it to the full line without overfilling. It may take some time for the steering wheel to loosen up, so drive for about 20 minutes to ensure the process was successful.
