In the 2008 Toyota Tundra, there are two relays that manage the secondary injection system. You can find both of them in the engine compartment fuse box near the battery under the driver's side fender. Each relay has a 50-amp rating, with one in slot 45 and the other in slot 46. If one of the relays malfunctions, be sure to replace it with a relay of the same amperage. The secondary air injection system serves to introduce air into the exhaust flow, ensuring a more complete combustion of the exhaust gases. While a faulty pump is often the primary issue with this system, electrical problems can also lead to pump failure.
