The starter for the 2007 Dodge Durango is located on the driver's side under the skid plates, visible when looking through the driver's side wheel well. It's recommended to access it from beneath the Durango by lifting the front of the car with a jack. After removing the plates, you can easily reach the bolts to remove the starter, remembering to disconnect the wires from the engine harness. A refurbished replacement starter from a store like O'Reilly's would cost around $130. New starters may be more expensive and difficult to find due to the age of your vehicle.
