The starter on a 2007 Honda Civic is positioned just below the intake manifold. To uninstall it, first disconnect the negative battery terminal. Then, lift the car using a jack on both sides and secure it with jack stands. Behind the starter, there is a bracket that must be taken off, which is secured by two 10mm bolts and one 12mm bolt. After removing the bracket, reposition the wiring harness by disconnecting the two wire guides. Subsequently, use a 14mm socket along with a flex head ratchet and extension to loosen the two starter bolts, as it is a confined working space. Lastly, untighten the 12mm nut that secures the positive battery cable and carefully remove the starter from the vehicle.
In a 2007 Honda Civic, you can find the starter located on the left side of the engine compartment.
