The location of the starter motor relay for a Mercedes Sprinter can be found in the fuse box. You can access the fuse box by looking to the left of the steering wheel and locating a small seam or crack on the dash. Using a screwdriver or prybar, you can open this panel to reveal a collection of fuses. Inside, there will be a diagram that indicates the function of each fuse. If this diagram is not on the panel, you can also refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Once you identify the fuse you need, simply remove it. Check if the thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is intact; if it's broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. Otherwise, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are affordable, typically costing around 10 dollars.
