The 2008 Ford Fusion does not have a separate starter relay; instead, it shares fuse #10 in the passenger compartment with the powertrain control module (PCM). You can locate the passenger compartment fuse block behind the kick panel under and slightly to the left of the steering wheel. If you don't have a diagram, you can find fuse #10, a 30A fuse on the third column from the right, third fuse from the top. The '08 Fusion's starter solenoid is actually integrated with the starter motor, so if you need to replace one, you'll have to replace both as they come as a single assembly. If you suspect the starter is the issue, be prepared to spend around $200 to $300 on a new starter.
It can be found in the fuse box located on the passenger side wheel well, typically among the first row of fuses.
The fuse box for my 2008 Ford Fusion is on the driver's side, but I'm having trouble finding the relay for the starter.
