In a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, you can find the starter relay in the engine compartment fuse box. Among the two fuse boxes in the engine compartment, the one you need is the closest to the firewall. If you're on the driver's side of the vehicle looking at the engine, the starter relay will be in the row of four black relays closest to you, the second one from the right. If you're having starter issues, sometimes tapping on the relay can help unstick it. If you need to replace it, firmly pinch the relay between your fingers and pull straight up to remove it. When installing the new relay, ensure it is fully seated in the fuse box.
