The thermostat in the 2007 Kia Sorento can be found next to the drive belt. To locate it, simply follow the radiator hose to the thermostat housing cover. If you need to repair or replace the thermostat, you will need to drain the coolant first. It is crucial to allow your Sorento to cool for a few hours before draining the coolant to avoid any burns or injuries. The radiator drain can be accessed through a hole in the front radiator support, and there are coolant drain plugs on each side of the block for the V6 engine. Make sure your engine and cooling system are properly prepared before removing the thermostat for a safe procedure.
