Various engine issues can arise, such as a spark plug coming loose, a loose gasket needing quick tightening, or oil leaks that should be promptly repaired. Overheating is a serious concern as it can result in fires and even the vehicle exploding. Excessive oil consumption may necessitate more frequent oil changes than expected. It is recommended to change the coolant every 60,000 miles, the air filter every 15,000 to 30,000 miles, spark plugs every 100,000 miles (unless copper, in which case replacement is needed every 30,000 miles).
