The Ford Fusion's tow eye hole can be found behind a removable plate above the front bumper on the driver's side of the car. You can locate the hook/eye by first removing the jack and tire tools stored in the cargo or trunk area. Attach the tow hook/eye to the jack by screwing it on. To install, twist the hook counterclockwise since the hole has a left-hand thread. When towing, make sure to turn the ignition on and put the car in neutral. Keep in mind that the steering wheel pump and brake servo won't work if the car is turned off. Avoid using a rigid tow bar at the connection point, and maintain speeds under 30 miles per hour and distances below 30 miles when towing.
