Occasionally, the 2008 Buick Enclave you own might encounter transmission control module issues, so it's crucial to be aware of its location. This important electrical component, along with the powertrain control module (PCM), manages most of the electronic communication among your car's systems. Typically, the TCM handles the transmission functions. To locate it, check the transmission gearbox where it is a plastic piece about an inch thick. It should be relatively easy to spot once you see the adjacent valves. The TCM is positioned at the front of the transmission, facing the radiator and grille. While they can be expensive to replace, it's still less costly than buying a new vehicle.
