If you're looking for the transmission fluid pressure sensor in a 2007 Nissan Murano, it's a straightforward process to find it in the engine compartment. To begin, you should open the hood of your car and position it securely. Then, direct your attention to the left side of the engine bay, where you'll see the transmission. The sensor, also known as TFPS, is typically attached to the side of the valve body within the transmission assembly. Sometimes, you may find it mounted on the side of the transmission body itself. Should the sensor be malfunctioning, it will require replacement. A new part can usually be purchased for a cost ranging between $38 and $137.

At one side of the valve body, you need to remove the sump to access it. The valve body is located in its own housing next to the sump. Additionally, there is an oil heater with a gauge filter on the front passenger's side of the transmission. It has four screws with 10 mm heads at the bottom, and inside is the gauze filter that should be inspected. This filter captures primary particles from the CVT, which helps regulate the main pressure.
