The 2007 Nissan Xterra is equipped with a turbine speed sensor that can be found in the engine bay. It is relatively easy to locate and should only require 3 to 5 minutes of your time. To begin, go to the front of your vehicle and open the hood using the prop arm to secure it in place. Next, locate the revolution or turbine sensor on the left side of the transmission's output section. If the sensor is defective, it will need to be replaced, which may cost you between $24 and $139 for a new one.
