The turn signal "flasher" unit in the 2008 Chevrolet Silverado is electronic and is situated in the control module beneath the driver's side dashboard. If your vehicle's turn signals are not working properly, it could be due to a burnt out bulb, a faulty fuse, or a malfunctioning relay. It's important to examine all these parts before considering replacing the flasher unit. Start by checking the bulbs first, as this is the simplest way to diagnose the issue. Turn on your hazard lights and inspect each bulb individually for any signs of damage. If the bulbs are all functioning correctly, you should then move on to inspecting the fuses and relays. These components can be located in both the engine compartment fuse panel and the cab panel. If there are no problems with the fuses or relays, then you can proceed to investigate the flasher unit.

I'm having an issue where I changed all the turn signals and brake lights, but now my flasher is blinking as if one of the lights is out. I'm trying to locate the flasher in order to replace it for my 2008 Chevy Silverado. The clicking sound seems to be coming from the fuse panel box on the top of the driver's side fender. Even after removing all the relays, the clicking noise persists.
