The wheel lock key for the 2016 Honda Civic comes installed from the factory in the back cargo area, in a foam slot near the spare tire. It will be housed in a small black nylon zippered bag with the Honda logo. Some wheel lock kits may also be stored in the glove compartment or provided by the dealer at the time of purchase. While not a standard feature of the Civic, these wheel locks are available as an optional upgrade. The keys resemble lug nuts but are slightly larger, and are used to unlock special "locking" lug nuts to secure the wheels and tires to the vehicle to prevent theft.
The wheel lock key for the 2016 Honda Civic can be found either in the glove compartment or in the trunk along with the roadside lug wrench.
