The Dodge Ram fuse box can be located on the left side of the steering wheel. To access it, look to the left of the steering wheel for a small seam or crack on the dash. You can use a screwdriver or prybar to open it up. Inside the fuse box, there will be a variety of fuses. On the back of the panel that you opened, there should be a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not there, you can refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Once you have identified the fuse you need, simply remove it. A good fuse will have an intact thin metal strip connecting the two elevated sections. If the strip is broken, the fuse is no longer functional and should be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, typically costing about $10.

The fuse box can be found in one of two spots: under the sun visor or close to the glove compartment. Keep an eye out for a small square cover.
