In the 2003 Toyota 4Runner, the yaw rate sensor is situated below the driver's seat, securely fastened to the floor. To calibrate the sensor to zero point, follow these straightforward steps: First, turn off the ignition and ensure the steering wheel is centered with the car in park. Then, turn the ignition on without starting the engine. Use a stripped wire to connect TS and CG on the ODB-II connector and confirm the slip indicator light illuminates. If it does, turn off the ignition. Turn the ignition back on (without starting the engine) and leave it on for 5 seconds. Check that the slip indicator light turns on again. If successful, disconnect the wires, and switch off the ignition.
