In 2010, the Audi A6 offers two different audio configurations. You'll either get the Audi Music Interface (AMI) or not. A6 models with AMI do not come with a separate auxiliary jack, but you can buy an affordable adapter that connects to the AMI. If your A6 does not have AMI, you will find an auxiliary jack in the center compartment under the armrest. The Audi Music Interface is ideal if you are heavily invested in Apple's products, as it offers seamless support for iPhones, iPads, and iPods. However, if you simply want a standard aux input, it can be somewhat inconvenient. Fortunately, adapters are reasonably priced at around $10, making the cost impact minimal.
