As an American, I would say: The oxygen sensor in a 2012 Ford F-150 is situated on the driver's side of the engine. You can find it by tracing down the exhaust manifold towards the exhaust pipe clamp, located in front of the catalytic converter. This sensor keeps an eye on the exhaust fumes and sends information to the computer to adjust the air-fuel mixture and fuel flow. If the oxygen sensor malfunctions, it could lead to problems like fuel starvation or a too-lean air-fuel mixture. To uninstall the oxygen sensor, you will require an oxygen sensor socket or a 7/8-inch wrench. Just unplug the sensor's electrical connector, which is positioned on the top of the engine near the firewall end of the valve cover.
