The Bose aMP location varies depending on whether you have a 2005 GMC Envoy or an '05 GMC Envoy XL. Not every vehicle was built with the Bose system, and it could have been changed or upgraded over the years. For the Envoy, you'll locate the amp on the passenger side behind a plastic panel in the rear hatch area. If you're driving an Envoy XL, check on the driver's side in the rear cargo area, near the compressor station. Once you find it, you'll recognize it easily as it stands out with a unique appearance. And wow, it's hard to believe it's been over a decade and a half already!
