The starter relay is located in the trunk near your battery. Above the battery, there is a fuse box where you can find a black cube. You can easily remove it by hand. Just be careful not to confuse it with the actual starter, which is located under the intake manifold.

I removed my starter relay to check it, and it turned out to be the reason my car wouldn't start. You can find it in the trunk along with the fuses, above the battery on the right side. Just like the earlier comment mentioned, it's not located under the hood!
