The 2019 Chevy Equinox has a spot in the center console where you can place your keyfob if the battery is low or dead. If you're having trouble starting your vehicle even after placing the keyfob in that alcove, there might be a problem with the vehicle's battery.
None of the answers given earlier are right. I still haven't located the key fob pocket. It's definitely not in the center console storage area nor under the cup holder mat.
The transmitter pocket for the 2019 Chevy Equinox can be found under the cupholder in the center console of the car.
The spot for the Chevy Equinox transmitter can be found in the middle front cupholder near the radio, not the console. To get it to work, I had to place it horizontally from left to right. Hopefully, this tip can assist someone.
There are two cup holders located at the front and back near the radio. Place the entire key in the front cup holder, then press the brake pedal and push the start button.
It's actually the cup holder located at the front, haha.
The most absurd location for the transmitter pocket is definitely here! I had to remove the entire top portion of the center console, where the gear shifter is, and remove the rubber lining of the cup holder just to place the key in the front cup holder so that I could start the car.
It's the cup holder in the front that's mentioned by both Sky and Flow, the one that is nearest to the radio.
As mentioned earlier, all I needed to do was place my key in the cup holder next to the radio, and it worked. There isn't a specific "pocket" that I could identify—I simply placed the keys in the cup holder.
I don't get why cupholders are so complicated... It's just nuts.
