The 2017 Ford Explorer comes equipped with standard, multi-vehicle washer fluid for both the front and rear windshield wipers. You can fill the reservoir, which is located under the hood in the engine bay. On the driver's side, there is a 26-inch blade, while the passenger's side has a 22-inch wiper, and the rear window has an 11-inch blade. The wiper control stalk is situated to the right of the steering wheel. Push the stalk upwards to activate the front wipers, and to turn on the rear wiper, press the button at the end of the stick. Pull the stalk toward you to wash the windshield. You can adjust the speed of the blades using a separate dial around the main control stick, which is marked with three white lines for low, medium, and high settings.
